Rina’s Maths learning Story
The Problem:
How we solved the problem:
First I drew my equation for the 4 adults and the 9 kids.
43x4=
22x9=
Then I drew a T-chart and did 43 to start with tickets because that's how much to pay for one
ticket for one adult.
Then for the students, I’m going to do a t-chart as I did for the adults and do 22 to start for the
tickets because how much to pay for one ticket for one student.
Then last I am going to add them up so
190+170=360
2+8=10
360+10=370
198+172=370
Finally, I found out that Kate had to pay 370 dollars for everyone’s tickets.
